Ask yourself:
Will it be helpful to help my child get ready for a new school routine before the school year starts? Can we start practicing routines this week to help make things easier when the first day of school rolls around?
Try This This Week
Try making a visual schedule for the morning routine. It can be images or words, depending on what you think will be best for your child. It might include things like:
Get dressed – Eat breakfast – Brush teeth – Pack the backpack–Put on shoes–Leave the house.
Keep the routine simple and practice every day!
