About this class
In this high-energy course, students will explore the origins of rock and roll and the cultural movements that shaped its early sound. From rhythm and blues to the rise of iconic artists, students will learn how this genre transformed music and society. Through listening activities, discussions, and interactive projects, students will discover the roots of rock while building an appreciation for its impact on generations. This course encourages creativity, connection, and a deeper understanding of music as a form of expression.

Tom is an educator who has been working in the field of education and human services for over 25 years. Tom loves to advocate for individuals trying to better their lives and truly enjoys promoting positive spirit amongst any group that he is a part of. Tom loves teaching Affinity classes with PBA. It is with great hope that any student joining this particular class will broaden their knowledge and have fun while doing so!
